Conference aims : The 5th international conference hosted by the International Eco-Cities Initiative will focus on contemporary eco-city developments in pan-Asia. The aim is to analyse and compare various eco-city developments, including considering individual eco-city initiatives within their specific local and national contexts, as well as discussing relevant governance and innovation perspectives comparatively across national and cultural boundaries. The conference also provides an international platform for networking among leading academics, policy-makers and practitioners in the field. The participation of early career researchers and practitioners is particularly welcome and is supported through a
competitive travel bursary scheme.
