The conference will be organised and hosted by the Department for History of Architecture and Building Archaeology in collaboration with the Museum for Ethnology in Vienna, Austria, and be hold under the patronage of the Austrian Commission for UNESCO.
The 2011 symposium “Insular Diversity: Architecture – Culture – Identity in Indonesia” aims at providing an international interdisciplinary forum for the exchange and discussion of perceptions and perspectives within various research fields in Architectural History and Asian Studies.
