Also, in collaboration with the Institute of Asian Studies, Chulalongkorn University, a seminar on "Thai Stakeholder's Perception in the Greater Mekong Subregion" will take place on November 8th , 2007. Irasec launched two new occasional papers, following up with this new type of publication started earlier this year. The first one gathers the proceedings of the symposium "State and Media in Thailand during Political Transition", as described above. The second entitled "Mekong-Ganga Cooperation Initiative" puts into perspective the relations between India and Southeast Asia.les notes de l'Irasec, a new collection of articles, based on the work of young researchers or providing short insights on specific topics will help us open discussions and engage new reflections. Both of these publications are available online free for download on our website. As for the coming months, a new study covering the whole area should provide a picture of national scientific research and higher education systems in Southeast Asia. Finally, a symposium on French research in the GMS is on the way.
